THE DIETZ IS THE LARGEST MIXED-USE HISTORIC REHABILITATION IN SYRACUSE. WE REDEVELOPED A 100-YEAR OLD LANTERN FACTORY TO CREATE 92 PREMIUM RESIDENTIAL UNITS AND 50,000 SQ FT of CLASS A COMMERCIAL SPACE IN THE HEART OF A DISTRESSED NEIGHBORHOOD.

The DIETZ is a historic mixed-use building with 92 modern luxury lofts and commercial space located just outside of Downtown Syracuse in the Park Avenue Neighborhood. We take our name from the famous lantern company that operated within the building for 100 years.
The limited quantity and quality of premium supply in the central business district of Syracuse provided demand for a luxury product steps from downtown in a revitalized area with public space and access. The high value of preservation and historical heritage from consumers in the market further enhanced the premium positioning.
COMMERCIAL SPACE THAT IS HELPING TO STRENGTHEN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The historic rehabilitation of the iconic manufacturing building provides up to 50,000 SQ FT of Class A commercial space located on a single level with onsite parking. The timeless architectural features of the building include exposed bricks and beams and oversized custom windows overlooking Leavenworth Park. The location of the site, just outside of downtown, provides an ease of access onto interstates 690 and 81, as well as a short walking distance to the lifestyle and amenities of downtown.

We take our name from the famous camera company that operated within the building for over 40 years.
The limited quantity and quality of luxury supply in the Greater Binghamton area provided demand for a luxury product steps from the exciting economic developments taking place in Downtown Binghamton and Downtown Johnson City. The rehabilitation of the historic site creates a new beginning for one of the region’s most prominent industrial assets from the 20th century.
